But wait! There’s more! Here’s proof of a little graduation celebration photo outsidemthe Music Conservatory. As you can see the Sousa Family of Kanile’a Ukulele joined us. (Three handsome boys in front, Joe and Kristin on their right and left)
There was a panel discussion on the impact of ukulele on your life....oh, yes, there was something to say!
There was dinner on top of a castle on top of a hill...with a concert....
There was a jam while we waited for the hour music usually starts in Europe....(later...) and Joe Sousa stepped in to get things going!
There was a walk up in the hill towns to take a look at living and farming on the side of mountains.
I know you are wondering...how do they get water to each property? Well here it is...irrigation canals...
If you look carefully you will see many gardens planted terrace style on the steep hillside. The irrigation canals access every property.
However, the canal manager has to open the gate allowing the water to head to your property, and you must be home to open your gate.
You will have water for five hours. Period. And usually once or twice a week...so...a new meaning to time management around home!
Little pop us stores...along the walking trails. Many flavors of Poncha...of course!
How about a little...very little, Maderia wine?
Not sure what story this up-ended cart tells....but I’m sure it’s part of a story.
Oh, and there was Sangria...of course there was.
